In my time at Missouri Southern State University, my biggest learning experience has been through the radio practicum, a course that gives the opportunity to host your own show. I've also honed my writing skills. These projects helped me to become aware of both my own voice and how others might perceive it. This growing ability to be able to put myself in the listener’s shoes through  both the spoken and written word has deepened my respect and shown me a glimpse of the potential that both radio and writing have to offer.
